I always said Lilly has a huge heart in a little body but I didn't know how accurate this statement was. She has PDA, enlarged heart and murmur. Lilly is a warrior and still trying to play with our children, but after 20 minutes she is just dead tired. Lilly healed our broken hearts and now is the time to do the same for her, but after many vet visit we just lost the hope that she can be healthy again. Today we took Lilly to Cork for consultation with the best cardiologists in Ireland what money can buy and we finally heard the good news. Lilly can be cured and live a long life as a healthy dog!!!!!! We have two options. First is open chest surgery. Second and more expensive is plugging ( the technique used most commonly is a placement of blood cloth device across the vessel). It was the fastest big decision in our life. We decided for second options .
